Does your child/grandchild/niece or nephew have a story to tell? Sometimes it will surprise you what your little one wants to say if you take the time to listen. We would like to challenge the young person in your life to let the inner writer out. Bookstores and libraries are full of manuscripts written by people no different than you, except that they took the time and were encouraged to simply write it down. Our first writing contest will begin on August 1, 2009. The deadline for your entry will be October 31, 2009. The winning entry will be announced on the website on November 15, 2009. Each of the winning stories will be published on the website for no less than 30 days. The prizes for this contest are $25.00 cash, certificates of merit and publication on this website.
